I would like to tell you how much I appreciate all the fine work you and Lance did on my 67 Mustang. I also wanted to share my thoughts so that others who are considering having work done can get a feel of what I went through. I bought this car in August 2012 with the expectation of doing a quick restomod. While I had gotten quite a bit done, my project had stalled. I had quickly knocked out some of the big stuff but was stuck on the rewire project. The devil is in the details. I had built a new motor and trans and dropped them in. I started to rewire the car. The wire harness looked like spaghetti. Every time I tried to work on the car, I began to feel overwhelmed. One day while browsing craigslist I came across an ad about a modern motor in a classic car. Since I was putting in an EFI motor, I figured I would give Dan a call and just pick his brain. He came out and looked over the car. I felt really comfortable with his knowledge level and how he was willing to work with me on my vision. My main goal was to modernize my car, yet have it look as though it might have rolled off the show room floor this way. I think Dan and Lance nailed that. The scope of the job expanded from our initial talk, but only because of how comfortable I was with the work they had done. I must admit, I spent a little more than I initially intended. However, I see that as an investment. I could have done most of the things they did, but it might have taken me a year or more to accomplish what they did in a short amount of time. I can now enjoy my car and I am reinvigorated. Hearing the car run is something Ive been dreaming about since I started this project, and Haynes High Performance made that happen. I can’t thank you enough, for your ideas, insight and hard work. My car hasn’t been home a week and I’ve already sent you a referral. I hope to send you many more.
